Cartridge Heaters with Standard Thread and Reverse Thread
Our cartridge heaters are available with two different mechanical connection configurations.
Standard Thread Cartridge Heaters
In the standard thread version, the threaded connection is positioned on the heating body side of the cartridge heater. This configuration is ideal when fastening is required directly in the heating area.
Reverse Thread Cartridge Heaters
Reverse thread cartridge heaters feature the threaded connection on the lead wire side. This design is particularly suitable for machines or molds requiring rear fastening due to their construction.
Both versions can be fully customized in terms of diameter, length, power rating, voltage, and thread specifications.

XLN – Standard Cartridge Heater
The XLN model is the traditional single-coil cartridge heater.
Heat is distributed evenly along the entire heated length, ensuring uniform and consistent temperature distribution.
This solution is ideal for applications requiring homogeneous heating.
XLS – Multi-Zone Cartridge Heater
XLS cartridge heaters are available with 2 or 3 independent heating zones.
Each zone consists of a heating coil with the same length and power rating as the others and features its own independent electrical supply.
This configuration allows each heating zone to be controlled separately, providing accurate heat distribution inside molds, dies, or industrial machinery.
XLD – Multi-Zone Cartridge Heater with Different Power Outputs
The XLD model is also available with 2 or 3 independent heating zones, but each zone is designed with a different power output.
Although all heating coils have the same length, each delivers a different watt density, allowing heat losses to be compensated and higher temperatures to be concentrated exactly where required.
Each zone has its own independent electrical connection for extremely precise temperature management.
XLZ – Single-Coil Differential Cartridge Heater
The XLZ cartridge heater represents an advanced heating solution.
It consists of a single heating coil internally divided into 2 or 3 zones of equal length but with different power outputs.
This design provides optimized heat distribution along the heater while maintaining a single heating element, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring highly controlled thermal profiles.

All Mit.D. electric cartridge heaters with mechanical connection are designed and manufactured in our Vanzaghello (Italy) production facility using high-quality materials and strict quality control procedures throughout every stage of production.
Each heater can be customized with:
