Staying up to date to tackle future challenges

On March 6, 2026, we took part in the AIM Study Day – Italian Association for Metallurgy, hosted by Pomini Long Rolling Mills in Legnano, focused on innovations in the hot rolling sector.

The event provided an important opportunity to explore the latest technological developments in rolling mill plants, with particular focus on the improvements brought by electronic technologies to production processes. These solutions allow better plant control, optimized performance and more efficient use of resources.

The innovations presented clearly show how technological progress plays a key role in improving operational efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of industrial processes, aspects that are increasingly crucial for the competitiveness of the steel industry.
